CXO Source System Manager Installation

Start the installer (use the same installer as used on the server):

If not already present, the .NET Framework 4.0 will be installed (note: the older versions remain in place and can still be used by other applications)

 

Should the following prompt appear, please press Yes. The installer will continue after the reboot:

 

Press Next:


Change the installation location if needed, otherwise press Next:

Unselect all tools, except for the Source System Manager:

Press Install to begin installation. 

 

When it's done press Finish to close the installation wizard.


After finishing the installation, copy the SourceSystemManager.config file to a safe location and replace it by the corresponding file from the CXO-Cockpit application server (note: on the laptop and / or the server the file extensions might be hidden, then check the File Type (CONFIG). It should be a text file of around 5 – 10 Kb). On the server, the Source System Manager might be installed on D:\ and / or in a folder named ..\Program Files (x86).

 

Check if you can start the Design Studio and logon with your usual account account.
