Ranking

This template is used for building reports to display the best and worst performers for two separate Accounts or KPI’s. Operating Expenses and Direct Costs is a good example of an Account combination:

What is displayed in this example?

  1. The two rankings in the top of the screen show the top and bottom 6 Products for an Account, in this case Net Sales. The Account can be changed by clicking on the pick list next to list (1A). By clicking on one of the bars, the Product for the bar charts on the right is changed.
  2. The two rankings in the bottom of the screen show the top and bottom 6 Products for an Account. The accounts that the user can choose from (2A) are based on an account list which has Gross Margin as a starting account.
  3. The number of Products in the ranking can be changed with this button.
  4. With this button you can choose whether you view the data from a Base Member perspective (lowest level in hierarchy) or from an aggregated Direct Member perspective (in this example the children of Product - Total).
  5. With this button the user can choose to display the Actual, Budget, Variance or Variance % ranking. In this case  Variance is displayed.
  6. The top right bar chart shows the trend of the selected Account (1A) and Product in two Categories for the current and previous 5 months. The selected Product on opening of the report is the top Product in the upper left chart. But you can change the Product by clicking on one of the Products in the ranking.
  7. The bottom right bar chart shows the trend of the selected Account (2A) and Product in two Categories for the current and previous 5 months. The selected Product on opening of the report is the top Product in the upper left chart. But you can change the Product by clicking on one of the Products in the ranking.
