Reports

Introduction

CXO Cockpit reports define the main interface for the CXO-Cockpit. Reports are based on templates that allow you to quickly rollout the CXO-Cockpit functionality.

Create a new Report

Create a new Report using the Create New Report wizard

The Create New Report Wizard can be accessed in two ways:

  • By Right clicking a Template from the Report by Template Tree
  • By Selecting the Create New Report button in the Report Administration Ribbon.

The wizard will guide you through the Process. Read more about it in the Create New Report Wizard article.

Create a new Report using the Reports button

In the Maintain Reports /wiki/spaces/CXO53/pages/19727119 you can Add, Copy or Delete a Report.
The report object has the following Attributes:

Name

Description

Name

Name of the Report

Template

Name of the Template on which the Report is based

OwnerThe name of the user in case the user that created this report only has the Report Builder role

Source System

Name of the Source System

Narrative Template

Predefined template for Narrative Templates

Master Narratives Report

Name of the Master Report

Child Narratives LabelA replacement for the title Subsidiary Comments in the Comments section
Draft Data RestrictionDefines whether a Draft Data restriction will be applied to the report

Narrative Template

A Narrative Template is a predefined format to help users input their comments. Thy are created and maintained in the Narratives section in the Report Administration Ribbon. They are edited using HTML.

View Narrative Templates to get an impression.

The Narrative Template can be linked to a Report in the Narrative Template Column, in the Maintain Reports screen, found in the Report Administration Ribbon.

Master Report Functionality

A Report can inherit it's POV Comments from another report. This feature can be Set up in Reports in the Report Administration Ribbon. Here you can set the Master Narratives Report. The Report inherits it's POV Comments from the Master Narratives Report. The comments can both be edited in the Slave Report and in the Master Report.

Report Template

CXO-Cockpit Templates are the base for every CXO-Cockpit report.
