Introduction

Within the CXO-Cockpit end-users have a CXO-Cockpit User account. The Users are grouped in User Groups. There are two ways to restrict content to end-users:

• POV Member Filters
• Report authorization

POV Member Filters

The POV Security filters allow you to filter the dimension members that are shown in the POV bar. With this functionality users can be restricted to see only their own entity, product group, cost center, etc. POV Security filters are assigned to User Groups. Report Authorization

The Report Authorization module defines the reports that a user can access. Report Authorization is assigned to User Groups. Read more in the Report Authorization article.

Multi-group Membership

User can be member of multiple User Groups. If this happens the POV Security filters will be merged and the authorized reports will be combined.
