Reports Permissions

Introduction

From reports tab, the admin can define the menu access for the user or user group that is created or change them in case the user or user group is being edited. 

CONTENT

Home Report

This is the Report that will be opened as home page for the User or User Group that is being created. The default setting indicates that the Home report will be the one set in Application Settings. In case the User does not have Home Report set and belongs to multiple User Groups which have different Home reports, the Home Reports will be opened random from one of the assigned in the Groups.

Menu Access

The admin can provide access for the User or the Users belonging to a Group to reports that belong in different Menu Items. The admin can choose whether the access will be enabled for all the Report in a Menu Item or only some of the Reports. The User inherits the reports permissions from the Groups in which the User belongs. Also the Group will inherit the permissions for the parent Groups. If Show inherited access to reports is selected, next to the Menu Items and Reports inside, the admin can see the icons for partially inherited sub-permissions or Duplicated Permission/Sub permissions explained in the legend.
