Palettes (Manage)

Introduction

Colors can be customized by application as well as by report. This allows our customers to use a company standard set of colors or adapt them to the audience’s preferences.

When you select to manage the Palettes, the list of all available Palettes will be opened. From the list, you can see the Name and a Small Preview of all of them.

CONTENT


At the right  side of the screen, you may see the all the details of the Palette that you will select. Additionally, here, you may click on the Edit button which will open the Edit Palette Screen from where you can change colors.

Filtering

You can also filter the list by typing the Name of the Palette.

 

Options

The actions that can be performed on a Palette by clicking on the Settings button in front of  the Name column are Copy and Delete. Copy will Copy the format by adding (Copy) at the end of the Name. Delete is for Deleting the Fromat.

 

 

Create new palette

By clicking on the + New Palette button, you will open the New Palette Window. Here, the Name  of the Palette is mandatory field. Give a name to a new palette and use the Color Picker to set Actual Color, Reference Color, Positive Variance Color, Negative Variance Color, Neutral Variance Color, Undefined Variance Color and a set of up to 20 default colours to be used in Charts ( each colour selected will be used sequentially for each item in the Chart). For Chart colors, the default option is to inherit chart colors from Default palette. You can pick the colors if you deselect the Inherit chart colors from Default palette.
