The CXO-Repository is a relational database that contains most of the CXO-Cockpit Application metadata. Some installation wide metadata is stored in the CXO Master Database
All application modules (CXO-Cockpit, CXO-Viewer, CXO-Excel Add-In and CXO-Design Studio) have to register in the configuration file how to connect to each repository (application).
The repository also defines how to connect to the other databases like:
- Staging Database
- Fact Database
- OLAP Database
