It is possible to use the CXO-Cockpit application adapter to populate a relational database and not use the website part.
In order to enable this you will need to set the "IntegrationAdaptersOnly" Application Settings to 1. This can also be done using the Configure new Application Wizard by checking the "Use only Application Adapter" field.
When the application is only used for Application Adapters, the following things change in the design studio:
- No website related admin functions in the design studio
- No website previewer
- Just access to security, application variables and the integration adapter
