titleI have been sent a CXO-Cockpit bookmark email, but it does not open correctly

When you have been sent a CXO-Cockpit bookmark email that does not open correctly, the following could be the cause:

You don't have access rights to the report that was sent to you

You need to have access rights to the bookmarked report. Check with the sender of the bookmark, what report was used and check if you see this report in the menu.

You don't have access rights to one of the bookmarked POV members

It could be that somebody has sent you a bookmark with POV members that your security settings don't allow you to select. In this case CXO-Cockpit will automatically select the top member from that dimension. Check with the sender of the bookmark

Configuration errors

When the CXO-Cockpit website after clicking the bookmark URL does not open at all or opens with technical errors, it could be that there is a configuration error. Contact the Captain in the Administrator in this case.

titleSome reports are missing after a StoryBoard was sent

It can happen that you do not see all reports in a Storyboard that was sent to you.

The likely cause is that your security profile is different from the security profile of the sender of the Storyboard.

Contact your CXO Administrator for more information.

titleWhy can I not change the contents of my Storyboard?

If one of the following occurs:

  • I try to create a new bookmark and add it to a Storyboard, but I do not see the Storyboard in the list.
  • I want to change the order of Storyboard items, but I do not see the Edit button on the selected Storyboard item.
  • I want to change the name or print orientation, but I do not see the Edit button on the selected Storyboard item.

You are probably not the owner of the Storyboard.

Use the Copy Storyboard functionality to create a copy that you own. After copying you become the owner and can change the StoryBoard Storyboard items and add bookmarks.

titleWhy don't I see all dimension members in the POV Bar?

If you do not see the same dimension members in the CXO-Cockpit Point of View Bar as in your source system, the following could be the case:

  • Not all dimension members got loaded from the Source system
  • Security settings prevent you from seeing the whole dimension
  • The POV Bar is limited to a certain level of the dimension hierarchy

Check with your CXO Administrator if one of these reasons can be the cause.
